Joan Collum, Senior Vice President
has been associated with Orr Commercial as a development
partner since April 2005. In addition to developing
shopping centers with Mr. Orr, she is also the exclusive
broker representative for Applebee's Neighborhood Grill
and Bar, Michael's Craft Stores, Pier 1 Imports/Pier
1 Kids. Ms. Collum also exclusively represents local
merchants and restaurateurs which include Surprise's
Gift and Collectibles, Stone Mill Bakers and Amichi
Restaurant, a new Italian concept developed by Jeff
Vallone and Bruce McMillian. She also represents Donald
Chang, owner of Sushi Bar Concept as Fish, Nara, Uptown
Sushi and Blue Fin Sushi and his continued expansion
in the Houston market.
Prior to joining Orr Commercial, Ms.
Collum was Vice President of Leasing for Levcor, Inc.
from April 1999 to January 2005; a Houston based shopping
center development firm. Ms. Collum was employed with
Moody Rambin Interests for 6 years as a tenant representation
broker. Prior to her experience as a real estate broker,
Ms. Collum was a real estate representative for WWS,
inc. and Pier 1 Imports handling the North and Southeast
sections of the United States and Eastern Canada.
Ms. Collum is a native Houstonian and
attended Sam Houston State University. She holds a
Texas Real Estate license and is an active member
of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
